Since the birth of my son, I have had to switch my English speaking brain to a Persian thinking brain.

Not only did I have to learn new vocabulary irrelevant words- but I have had to structure sentences that I have never used before.

Who would have thought that one day I would be thinking in Persian?

Some sentences I have had to construct in Persian....

"Look, a snail!"

Negáh kon, halazún

"Please don't pee while I take off your diaper!"

Lotfan jísh nakon vaghtí nappíyet o dar míyáram

"Kindly refrain from urinating in the bathtub!!"

Lotfan túyeh ván jísh nakon

"Dont take your pants off"

Shalváreto dar nayár!!!!
