Read the Shapes book as pre reading
In all of these activities you should aim to read and repeat the words that you have learnt
with your child in everyday settings. The more often they hear the tunes the greater the chance of retention and recollection.
1. Play with Magnetiles
Discuss the names of each shape as your child is playing with them
Hold up each shape and ask your child to recount the name of each tile.
