Mona Kiani farsi finglish heritage iran language persian simonsinek why

I think it has come the time for me to explain my why.

Two and a half years ago, I was enthusiastically looking for references and resources to help me teach our son Persian.

The only thing was... There were NO good resources. All of the books lacked the vowels that I needed to help me read Persian fluently (the á, í, ú, o & e's that we take for granted in English alphabet).

All the literature that I was able to access was 'non accented" and there were no phonetic books that my husband could use.

Arie, my son. Is my why. I want for him to be able to read and write fluently. I want him to be able to converse eloquently and to relate to his Persian brothers and sisters in his mother tongue.

Englisi Farsi is my how.

Arie is my why.

What's yours?
