So you have the Persian Alphabet Reading & Writing Book and you
want to apply what you have learnt to practice.
Some lesson plans
& top tips from Englisi Farsi's Chief enthusiast,
Mona Kiani 🦚
Read the Persian Alphabet book as pre reading
In all of these activities you should aim to read and repeat the letters that you learnt
with your child in everyday settings. The more often they hear the word the greater the chance of retention and recollection.

1. Focus on a Letter a week.
Using your Childs knowledge of the English alphabet ask them to sound out words in Persian that they already know with that sound (even though there are three "s" four "z" its more important that they can sound out the letters phonetically than know their Proper Persian letter name.
Familiarise your family with the FULL Persian Alphabet INCLUDING the
LONG & SHORT VOWELS that are always omitted!
